  • Overview

    (i) Lead the implementation and administration of a Finished Goods Warehouse that develops demand of finished goods inventory, (ii) supplies ownership to WH regions, and (iii) owns the discipline and visibility to stocking strategies, inventory turns and supporting forecasting for improved reliability in lead time improvement and improving the customer experience.


    Analytics (30%) 

    • Set up processes/systesm to manage HT&P and PPD finished goods inventory, set stocking levels, monitor inventory accuracy and on-time shipment.

    Team Management (30%)

    • Leads finished goods inventory team including analysts, planner, scheduler and supervisor of warehouse team.

    Inventory Control (30%)

    • Evaluates inventory levels while monitoring booked sales, shipments and production levels in order to balance capacity utilization with desired inventories and customer service. 
    • Monitors end item inventory value to ensure TDW goals are met.

    Finished Goods (10%)

    • Works with the sales team to determine prioritization of product delivery.

    HSE (continuous)

    • Ensures that HSE rules and procedures are followed by all employees in the department and that appropriate guidance and training are provided in the different service centers.
    • Ensures the development and achievement of quality objectives commensurate with TDW's quality policy, which assures continued ISO certification.

    Relationships with others

    • Reports to the WH Senior Director, Sales & Operations
    • Directly manages the Finished Goods Warehouse organization
    • Interacts and works closely with TDW Sales Team WH - Senior Director, Sales Region Leaders, Sales Managers, Account Managers, Sales Representatives
    • Works in close collaboration with Production/Planning Manager, Commercial Operations Manager, Senior Director WH Manufacturing, Inside Sales Manager

    Customer orientation

    • Must have domain expertise in customer care - must ensure the TDW Customer Experience continually improves and sees operations from the customer point of view.




    • Bachelor's degree in an engineering discipline or supply chain/logistic field,
    • Certifications in Inventory Control, Planning and/or Procurement preferred,
    • Experience with inventory planning and materials forecasting,
    • Understands the constraints and critical path analysis; risk, mitigation,
    • Expert level knowledge and experience of manufacturing, distribution, supply chain and sales processes, analysis, team dynamics and structures,
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, along with demonstrated leadership skills,
    • Proficient in the use of personal computers with Microsoft Word and Excel knowledge at the intermediate level.
