  • Responsibilities

    Develop, present, or respond to proposals for specific customer requirements, including the support of new and existing Pipeline Hot Tapping & Plugging technologies and services. Plan and propose modifications of product configurations to evolve sales strategies to meet customer needs for new and legacy products and services. Support growth of products and services from R&D to commercialization and subsequent product line management of identified portfolio through involvement with the inside sales, field sales, business development personnel, and manufacturing/supply chain. Support assigned portfolio of new and existing pipeline technologies and services. Support Product Life Cycle of technologies and services portfolio, constantly looking for ways to maximize opportunities and minimize inefficiencies due to competing products, obsolete part numbers and excessive inventories. Develop sales plans to introduce products to new customers, including request for proposal responses and industry-specific solutions. Stay informed on industry news and trends, products, services, competitors, relevant information about legacy, existing, and emerging technologies, and the latest product-line developments. Participate in trade shows, coordinating with the Marketing Communications Group to develop commercialization documents, sales tools, promotion and advertising media, trade shows, and miscellaneous communication tools required by the sales team to effectively sell products and services globally. Develop and present White Papers to conferences and associations in support and promotion of technologies and services. Provide new product sales development training and support for the global sales personnel and ensure technical proficiency appropriate to meet customer and market requirements. Introduce new products and services to operations group by ensuring that all required literature, support documentation, pricing guidelines and training are in place prior to product or service release.



    • Bachelor’s degree required (Business and/or Engineering)
    • Minimum of 2-5 years of experience working in a technical/engineering environment
    • Demonstrated cross-functional project management skills
    • Excellent verbal, written, and presentation communications skills. Should be proficient in the use of Microsoft Office applications.

    Desired Qualifications

    • Advanced degree, MBA or MS in an engineering discipline
    • Knowledge of pipeline field operations and other field disciplines
    • Experience representing the company to customers and industry
