  • Overview

    The Global Quality Management Systems (QMS) leader will spearhead global initiatives and is a recognized expert in a specialized field. This role will be a critical member providing essential QMS expertise for products and services globally and ensuring compliance to customer, regulatory, country and internal standards and requirements. The QMS leader will collaborate with the global site and business leadership to ensure compliance and identify and drive continual improvement of the QMS.


    This position can be located either in Tulsa or Houston.


    Maintain required TDW Certifications and Compliance and Audit Program (30%)

    • Responsible to proactively mitigate risks, timely compliance and preserve site ISO and other customer specific certifications.
    • Monitor and analyze QMS processes through internal audits, performance reviews, and networking to deliver improvements. These improvements should create positive customer/business impact.
    • Spearhead all internal/external audits, maintain audit schedule, track and trend findings to closure and ensure the corrective and preventative action systems are used to satisfy customers and promote improvements.
    • Lead/Support site QMR’s. Ensure standardized reports by reviewing, analyzing and summarizing data and making recommendations for site leads.
    • Develop and maintain audit program, compliance calendar; liaise and develop synergy among business lines.

    Establish Framework and Systems Integrity (35%)

    • Establish a dynamic and global QMS program and framework and be focal point including assessing, establishing, documenting, implementing and ensuring all business units align to global TDW requirements and continually improve its effectiveness in accordance to industry standards.
    • Gatekeeper for all product, manufacturing, engineering and services procedures and documentation in central repository and responsible for driving consistency and simplification.
    • Operationalize processes for simplicity and to support business initiative to standardize and leverage best practices from various sites, units for improved efficiency and effectiveness.

    Leadership in Global QMS Compliance (35%)

    • Coordinate communication of the quality policy, quality manual, principles, and quality performance for all sites.
    • Develop and lead TDW’s strategic quality objectives with input from Operations, Engineering, Services and Customers.
    • Provide leadership and guidance and remain as main contact for all customer audits and manage third party certification program to increase demonstrated level of quality compliance and best in class in Industry.
    • Develop, coach mentor and train site auditors for all business line and support Internal/External audits. Provide effective quality related awareness education, training and support, as necessary.
    • Influence leadership to support Quality initiatives; ensure top leadership engagement in the quality management system.


    • Bachelor’s in Science or Engineering from an accredited University or College.
    • 5+ years of experience, and ability to coach others, in applied knowledge and proven experience with ISO product standards and API Q1.
    • Minimum of 3-5 years of auditing experience
    • Minimum of 5-7 years in quality assurance/QMS role.
