  • Overview

    Provide sales support for any request related to the assigned TDW products and services (Hot Tap and Plugging), and ensure customer requirements are correctly identified and TDW commits and assigns resources to ensure delivery to customer satisfaction.


    Hot Tapping is the method, used in the Oil & Gas sector, of making an intervention to existing piping without the interruption of the pipe. This means that a pipe can continue to be in operation whilst maintenance or modifications are being done to it.



    Preparation of quotations (30%)


    • Receives and processes client requests in a timely manner.
    • Analyzes the request from a technical point of view and liaises with the Engineering department for non-standard products/Service as needed.
    • Participates in the commercial review handled by the Sales Manager.
    • Ensures, together with the Centre of excellence, alignment with customers’ requirements and arranges site survey if required.
    • Evaluates project costs and resources availability, completes the project risk assessment if any.
    • Develops the commercial and technical proposal and submits it to the customer.


    Contract review and handover process (20%)


    • At order receipt, proceeds with the contract review before entering data in the IT system and discusses all discrepancies with the customer.
    • Liaises with Engineering and the Customer to follow up on the approbation process of the plans if applicable.
    • Checks conformity and acceptability of the commercial and legal terms (incl. letter of credit) with the other departments involved.
    • Conducts handover meeting with the Centre of excellence or alternatively complete the handover document.


    Project management (30%)


    • Is fully responsible for the execution of projects according to the contracts.
    • Manages day-to-day operational aspects and scope of the project in close coordination with the CoE.
    • Conducts handover meeting with the CoE and launches the order in the IT system.
    • Performs kick off meeting with the Customer.
    • Identifies required resources (people and equipment) and ensures their availability.
    • Defines and executes project plans, revises them as appropriate to meet changing needs and requirements.
    • Provides formal order acknowledgement and submits documents as needed to different departments (e.g. legal).
    • Follow up back log with the CoE.
    • Identifies sales opportunities as project matures and is responsible that variations are documented properly.
    • Minimizes company exposure to risk on project.
    • Organizes and reviews deliverables prior to submission to client.
    • Enforces project standards and applies internal controls.


    Shipping&Invoicing (20%) 


    • Ensures collection and approval of all required order documentation (HSE, quality, shipping, etc.) to be sent to the customer.
    • Provides necessary inputs to the CoE for transport arrangement and confirms delivery.
    • Prepares and send invoices to the customer and ensures payment follow up & cash collection.
    • Reports claims and transmits them to the appropriate functional departments, and prepares credit notes.


    • Bachelor degree in commerce with 5 years experience in a similar role, or master degree.
    • Strong commercial and interpersonal skills.

    • Fluent in English and other regional languages as needed.

    • IT literate.

    • Strong organization skills and rigor.
