  • Overview

    One-year fixed-term contract due to maternity leave.


    Handles all HR activities of TDW, including personnel administration, coordination of recruitment activities, development and training, performance management, and implement initiatives & programs in close collaboration with the HR Business Partner & the line managers.


    Personnel administration (60%)


    • Administers the employment activities including records of all personnel files, contracts and ensure the compliance with legal, social and tax aspects.
    • Formulates and monitors conformance to the departmental budget, thereby contributing to cost control.
    • Administers a proactive & attractive employee relations program, emphasizing communication, teamwork and trust.
    • Handles process of all employee administration activities such as employee onboarding program, benefits enrollment and follow-ups, following KPI of the dpt, etc.
    • Provides timely and accurate information to the pay-roller.
    • Takes initiatives in determining action on routine and no-routine matters with respect of urgency, confidentiality and importance.
    • Provides to the personnel high quality answers in time on social matters, knows the best practices to facilitate a positive relationship.


    Implementation of HR programs and initiatives (20%)


    • Recruitment: works closely with Line Managers and Recruiters to ensure that all efforts are made to hire the best talentfor the right fit.
    • Performance management: supports the Managers in the process of cascading Company objectives and timely completion of the performance appraisal cycles.
    • New Hire Onboarding: plans, arranges and conducts new hire orientation program.


    Training & development (10%)


    • Issues and updates the annual training plan & the individual development plan, organizes all required trainings introduces all subsidiaries requests.
    • Works closely with the different managers throughout the organization in designing and executing new trainings.
    • Identifies and evaluates outside training resources to ensure the highest quality of training methods and personnel are utilized.


    Business partnership (10%)


    • Provides HR advice and service to management and staff.
    • Advises managers on counseling employees regarding performance issues, works closely with them in the resolution of difficult employment matters.


    • Bachelor degree in HR management or related discipline combined with minimum 5 years experience as HR generalist (in an industrial environment).
    • Expertise in Belgian social law.
    • Experience with assignment and expatriate files, oriented HR information systems.
    • Fluent in English (both oral and written).
    • Driven and hands-on, business minded, problem-solving skills.
    • Good organization skills and ability to manage different priorities.
    • Strong interpersonal and communication skills at all levels within a multicultural environment.
    • Good sense of judgment and assertiveness to enforce our HR philosophy and practices.
    • Good understanding of the local labor laws and employment practices.
    • Respect for confidentiality and discretion.
