  • Overview

    Implement, monitor and maintain quality assurance, control, and continuous improvement processes and procedures in accordance with corporate goals and objectives in order to achieve customer satisfaction and risk mitigation. Frequent contact with Suppliers, TDW Engineering, Production and Operations personnel and with TDW’s customers. Focuses on supplier quality and customer satisfaction as the primary driver of quality improvement. Addresses external and internal customer issues in a timely & effective manner. Follows the directives of the Quality System by applying the instructions and procedures of the system as specified in the documents of: Quality manual, policies, processes, and procedures.


    • Assists Global Quality Manager in the development of written programs and procedures to ensure data collection is structured, managed, and utilized to benefit the quality system.
    • Utilizes appropriate quality tools (e.g., problem solving and root cause analysis) to help resolve customer complaint issues.
    • Utilizes statistics, problem solving and other quality tools to monitor, report (KPIs and performance metrics) and improve business processes and to help troubleshoot production process and product issues.
    • Assists with the internal audit program to ensure compliance with requirements and to identify continuous improvement opportunities.
    • Manages CAPA activities to ensure timely administration of both activities and records.
    • Provides regular reports detailing quality system performance to help direct continuous improvement efforts.
    • Assists the Manager in developing and conducting training programs related to quality.
    • Monitors and ensure all policies, procedures and processes are current and up-to-date, and are being performed as specified. Assists with the internal quality audit processes
    • Monitors and/or maintains performance records. Maintains departmental operating procedures in an accurate condition reflective of day-to-day operations.
    • Facilitates Quality Councils and non-conformance review meetings (MRB) to address run issues and internal non-conformances.
    • Conducts appropriate reviews of internal non-conformances and initiates appropriate corrective and preventive actions to ensure timely and effective corrective action of non-conformances
    • Secures, maintains, interprets, and retains appropriate quality records (including material certification, NDE and testing reports, etc.)
    • Remains abreast of new developments in Quality (inc. Assurance, Compliance, Control, Continuous Improvement) methods and technology.


    • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or other technical discipline is required.
    • 0-2 years experience as a Quality Engineer
    • A 4 year non-technical degree may be substituted with substantial, documented Quality Engineering experience.
