  • Overview

    Ensure that material handling, warehousing, packaging, loading and unloading of materials are done according to the defined schedule, the internal procedures and the customers’ requirements.

    Responsibilities

    Safety (20%)

    • Ensures TDW HSE guidelines are followed by the team and acts quickly on all safety issues and improvements when requested, holds HSE meetings in accordance to the HSE plan,
    • Ensures that all safety and housekeeping standards are adequate to achieve a safe work environment,
    • Complies with OHSAS programs and rectifies out-of-compliance areas, if needed;

    Warehouse management (50%)

    • Oversees storage and movement of materials from the reception of materials to the expedition of finished goods to end customers,
    • Enters in the ERP system the material coming from the suppliers according to the order and transport receipt, will maintain high levels of accuracy in day to day operations.
    • Coordinates with all other production sections to have products moved back and forth for manufacturing operations until the product is completed as scheduled,
    • Informs the Purchasing & Subcontracting department of pieces ready for Machining, rolling or Job work outside.
    • Organizes the warehousing of TDW products, inventories and supplies to facilitate safe storage of inventory, timely shipments and maximum utilization of the space,
    • Makes the requisition for packaging needed for the expeditions (boxes, boards, carton boards, etc.) and supervises subcontracting of packaging.
    • Ensures packaging is done according to customers’ requirements,
    • Achieves the marking of boxes as per customers’ specifications;
    • Prepare Inventory reports on monthly basis as per KPI’s set for the year, or as requested.

    Inventory (10%)

    • Guarantees the accuracy of the inventory and ensures that all stock movements are recorded in the ERP system,
    • Analyses and justifies any stock differential;

    Continuous Improvement (5%)

    • Initiates, leads or ensures constructive contribution of the staff to all continuous improvements workshops,
    • Ensures that production organization follows the 5S standards;

    Team Management (10%)

    • Assigns workload and serves as technical advisor for resolution of complex issues,
    • Selects, evaluates, motivates and develops employees to ensure a qualified workforce necessary to meet company objectives, while complying with local employment guidelines,
    • Empower manpower flexibility in terms of competencies,
    • Sets personal objectives, provides fair and constructive feedback, assesses accurately employee performance, training needs, areas for improvement and possibility of future growth within the organization, and ensures training & development needs are addressed,
    • Develops a positive team dynamics to ensure high performance,
    • Leads the continuous improvement process in his team.

    Qualifications

    • Minimum 3 to 5 years of hands on experience with ERP Knowledge,
    • Previous leadership experience leading team and setting daily expectations,
    • Experience in handling large pieces, knowledge of shipping methods,
    • Fluent in English, knowledge of local Language is a plus.
    • Microsoft Office experience (Word, Excel, Power Point etc.)
