  • Overview

    Leads a multi-faceted group that provides critical support services for the HT&P Service Ops.  These include but may not be limited to application engineering for TDW HT&P operations, business process management and system support, operational data analytics and fleet management.   Works in collaboration with HT&P operations managers to identify and drive continuous improvements in the safety, quality and efficiency of the HT&P service operations.


    Engineering and Technical Support (30%)

    • Ensures field operations receives the technical support required to safely and efficiently meet customer expectations in alignment with TDW policies and procedures
    • Where needed, supports customer inquiries for technical support or problem solving
    • Responsible for ensuring technical documentation is current and applicable to needs of internal and external stakeholders
    • Owner and approver for changes to technical documentation including the technician manual
    • Owner and responsible for the job filter ensuring the appropriate jobs are effectively reviewed and technical guidance is provided to field operations prior to execution
    • Responsible for ensuring there is the proper level of technical involvement in incident investigation and all resulting technical action items resulting from investigation is effectively executing in the prescribed time frame

    Business Process and IT System Management (25%)

    • Owns and optimizes the business processes and associated IT systems to ensure operations are highly efficient and profitable
    • Represents the stakeholders for IT system changes and needs
    • Responsible for communication and training on changes to IT systems and business processes
    • Manages communication on all technical and business process changes to the ops team including keeping InfoWorld or appropriate document library’s current

    Operational data analytics and performance support (15%)

    • Leverages all available systems to provide operational statistics and performance reporting to identify areas of systemic or incremental improvements across HT&P operations
    • Owns the fleet management processes and procedures which include both WH HT&P assets and WH vehicle fleet
    • Leverage available data and information to develop, articulate and execute on a strategic improvement plan focused on HT&P services yet aligned with TDW Strategic Framework and relative business line strategies

    Operational Support (15%)

    • Works closely with HSE, quality, sustaining engineering and product management to ensure incidents are fully investigated and improvements are effectively completed.
    • Oversees the technical expertise responsible for the development, training and application of consistent services bidding procedures and tools that ensure services delivered meet customer expectations and return the value to TDW for the specific application.
    • May serve as liaison to Global Training Director to help ensure appropriate training is scheduled to support HT&P service operations 

    Team Leadership and People Development (15%)

    • Foster an environment of One TDW by ensuring there is open collaborative communication between all HT&P work teams including, but not limited to, field operations, sustaining engineering and counterparts in the Eastern Hemisphere
    • Effectively develops the team and builds successors within and across the organization
    • Responsible work team communication and connecting the responsibilities and action of the team with the WH strategic framework and HT&P goals & objectives


    • Strong leader with 20 years of operational experience
    • Bachelor degree in Engineering preferred or a business degree with 10 years of field service experience.
    • Proven leadership skills of professional, office and field hourly employees
    • Operational savvy with proven business acumen
    • Work process oriented
    • Experienced change leader
    • Proven track record of identifying and developing talent
    • Demonstrated communication skills that can be tailored to a wide range of audience up down and across the organization
    • Well organized with ability to handle multiple and often changing priorities from various fronts
