Develops and achieves annual operating plan.
Ensures compliance in meeting this objective.
Preparation of job bids for pressurized piping systems, ensure minimizing costs and maximizing profit margins.
Determines number and types of field personnel required to perform operations.
Sales, product, educational and promotional presentations to potential customers.
Review contract engineering specifications and drawings, ensuring HT&P capabilities are compatible with existing or proposed pipeline or transmission lines.
Monitors field personnel and equipment quality standards.
Investigates problems and recommends corrective measures.
Coordinate the design and fabrication of special equipment, modification / maintenance of existing equipment to ensure HT&P requirements are met and quality is kept to the highest level.
Supervise HT&P field applications in an operational capacity to ensure that jobs are completed within corporate guidelines, at minimal delay, at minimal cost and with maximum safety.
Monitor the use of outside vendors and machine shop to ensure products meet appropriate specifications and that costs are within industry norms.
Remains current on new developments, policies and procedures relating to equipment and operational / maintenance techniques and implements changes as necessary.
Learn, understand and apply approved safety procedures at all times.
Ensure that personnel safety and accident / incident prevention is observed at all times.
Complies with TDW and customer safety standards and procedures.
Stops any work utilizing TDW equipment when unsafe conditions exist that threaten equipment, property damage or bodily injury.
Attend Job safety analysis or site inspection with customer to identify & discuss site and safety requirements.
Operate in compliance with established TDW quality assurance procedures.
Maintains clean, orderly work area and observes company safety rules.
Performs other tasks as may be required from time to time by supervisor / management.
