  • Overview

    The Change Management Specialist will play a key role in ensuring projects (change initiatives) meet objectives on time and on budget by increasing employee adoption and usage. This person will focus on the people side of change - including changes to business processes, systems and technology, job roles and organization structures. The primary responsibility will be creating and implementing change management strategies, training plans, execution of those plans, and plans that maximize employee adoption and usage and minimize resistance. The Change Management Specialist will work to drive faster adoption, higher ultimate utilization and greater proficiency of the changes that impact employees in the organization to increase benefit realization, value creation, ROI and the achievement of results and outcomes.


    1.) Enterprise Change Management Leader (60%) - Work with leadership to develop a change management strategy and apply methodology to develop a change management program for implementation across the enterprise. Lead change management communication and training efforts across company.

    2.) Project Support for Strategic Projects (35%) - Work directly with sponsors or business owners of the change; understand goals for the change and be able to translate them into impacts to the organization. Assess readiness/risks for the change including identifying people-side risks and anticipated points of resistance; evaluate the results and present findings. Develop and manage communication and change plans for assigned projects. Review training materials to help ensure users have the knowledge and ability necessary to successfully adopt the implemented changes. Identify resistance and/or performance gaps, and work to develop and implement responsive actions. Create and enable reinforcement plans and celebrations of success.

    3.) Support for Strategy Execution Office (5%) - Lead Strategy Execution office in mapping and maintaining benefits realization plan. Drive governance to ensure projects meet change management standards.


    Bachelor or equivalent experience

    Licenses/Certifications: Prosci certified

    Language(s): English Bilingual in French or Spanish preferred

    Experience: 5-10 years of experience of organizational change management Energy industry preferred
