  • Overview

    Primarily support the Integrity Business Line operations for a comprehensive health, safety and environmental program by ensuring safe and healthful working conditions, recommending measures to reduce/eliminate incidents that strengthen our defenses.



    Health & Safety Procedures

    • Monitors safety policies and measures to be followed by field operations personnel,
    • Investigates work-related injuries and incidents for the purpose of reducing future incidents and minimize cost to the Company, at the same time ensuring personnel are returned to productive status at earliest opportunity,
    • Active voice and member of the integrity leadership team to continually strengthen our safety defenses.
    • Provides support with regard to conducting studies and analyses of potential incident causes and hazards,
    • Participates in the investigation of incidents and injuries and assists in the preparation of material and evidences for Company use in hearings, lawsuits, and insurance investigations,
    • Coordinates and conducts appropriate safety training programs designed to increase proficiency in safe working practices and promote safety awareness,
    • Represents the Company in industrial safety groups and programs,
    • Stays abreast of government regulations to ensure compliance,

    Environmental Compliance

    • Provides support in developing and monitoring procedures for disposal of chemical products,
    • Monitors environmental program to ensure TDW is in compliance with applicable community, state, and federal regulations,
    • Is responsible for government permitting requirements for operating facilities,
    • Conducts compliance audits and inspection tours of regional facilities to assure adherence to company, state and governmental regulations, to detect existing or potential hazards, and recommend corrective or preventive measures where indicated, 
    • Responds to customer requests for Health, Safety and Environmental information and address compliance and certification requirements.




    Experience: 

    • Technical degree preferred
    • Minimum eight (8) years of total HSE manufacturing and services experience as a HSE professional  of which a minimum five (5) of HSE work experience in the oil and gas preferred.
    • Must have a strategic vision in engineering safety
    • Excellent English verbal, written, and presentation communications skills,.
    •  Relevant HSE Certifications or equivalent work experience requirement
    • OHS & OHSAS Government regulations, safety compliance and industrial hygiene 
    • Team player and self-starter 
    • Ability to influence, inspire and motivate people who are not directly under his responsibility 
    • Business acumen 
    • Strong analytical skills  
    • Microsoft Office applications- Intermediate level 
    • Lean Six Sigma Greenbelt Certification preferred
