  • Overview

    Clean, inspect, repair and test customers’ equipment and TDW Services equipment for damage or wear before delivery to job site.


    • Cleans, inspects, repairs and tests in compliance with established quality assurance procedures to detect damage or wear, ensuring that worn or damaged parts are repaired or replaced according to specifications:
      • TDW Services equipment including tools
      • Customers’ equipment  
      • Shop forklift, overhead crane and shop equipment.
    • Maintains calibration equipment including gauges, torque wrenches, and pressure testing equipment.
    • Organizes daily shop activities with persons in shop;
    • Resupplies consumables;
    • Maintains maintenance records of the Service Center’s HT&P equipment, ensuring records are current and complete in FSA;
    • Using forklift and shop overhead cranes, stores tapping, plugging and related equipment, testing equipment and tools, ensuring availability of equipment as required;
    • Provides relevant information for quote preparation including estimated labor
    • Performs all equipment coordination functions, including job setup, proper packaging of HT&P equipment according to transportation mode, loading of equipment for shipment, to and from remote jobsites;
    • Maintains a clean and orderly work area, ensuring TDW safety standards are met;
    • Promotes TDW safety culture in the shop and is responsible for visitor’s safety orientation.
    • Performs other duties as required.


    • College or technical school and/or relevant experience required, min 5 years in a similar job;
    • Experience with repair and maintenance of TDW Services equipment;
    • Working knowledge of hydraulic equipment, such as pumps, motors, control valves, etc., hand tools and torqueing equipment, Overhead cranes and forklifts;
    • Project management experience is a plus
    • Able to read blueprints;
    • Fluent in English;
    • Team spirit, ability to work autonomously and sense of urgency;
    • Requires heavy (25 kgs/50 lbs max) lifting;
    • Ability to travel within Canada and USA  for training and field work might be required.
