    T.D. Williamson (TDW) is an exciting company who is an industry leader in pressurized pipeline inspection. This is an opportunity to become a part of the TDW family whose goal is keeping people and the environment safe through in line inspection (ILI) expertise. TDW’s Electrical Engineers design high end embedded data acquisition and measurement systems that run in extreme industrial environments. They advance ILI tool technology by designing electronic systems, that include micro-controllers, FPGAs, high speed memory and communication interfaces, and advanced algorithms.


    This position will contribute to the development, improvement, and sustainment of harsh environment data logger and measurement systems.


    • Contribute to product specifications, system design and protocols.
    • Design of micro-controller based systems, sensor signal conditioning, communication and memory interfaces, power magnetics and management, and battery monitoring circuits
    • Embedded and logic programming
    • Create project proposals and estimates
    • Data quality and storage
    • Design testing systems/fixtures
    • Present designs to peers and mentors for review



    • B.S. degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering, with 4 yrs. experience, or M.S. degree with 2 yrs. experience, or equivalent
    • Proficient in analog and digital circuit analysis, design, simulation, and testing
    • Proficient in embedded systems programming ( C, C++), as well as FPGA (a plus)
    • Proficient in the use of EDA design tools (preferably Altium)
    • Experience with measurement systems
    • Self-starter with excellent time management skills
    • Good oral communication, organization, and documentation skills
    • Proficient in the use of MS Office (Excel and Word), Visio
