Supports the business by ensuring the delivery, the maintenance and the support of PC hardware, software, peripherals and communication systems that cannot ne resolve remotely.

The System Administrator is the second point of escalation for the resolution of desktop or laptop related incidents, service requests, and connectivity issues.


  •     Provides second-line investigation and diagnosis.
  • Resolves and closes incidents/service requests as per procedures & allocated timelines.
  • Escalates unresolved incidents/service requests within agreed timescales.
  • Logs relevant incident/service request details per procedures.
  • Communicates with end users regarding incident progress.
  • Maintain asset regiter.
  • Manage IT invetory.
  • Ensures tickets are updated at all times until issues are resolved.
  • Performs staging of PCs.
  • Performs IMAC (Install, Move, Add and Change).
  • Conducts hardware and software maintenance and support.
  • Troubleshoots and resolves PC incidents and/or VIP requests.
  • Ensure the follow-up of local hardware repair.
  • Assists Server Team when server install and maintenance is required.
  • Creates/maintains local documentation.
  • Analyzes performance and usage trends to make recommendations for system enhancements or upgrades to keep delivery performance meeting customers’ expectations.
  • Provides Help Desk support as assigned to internal and external customers for problem resolution and resolution of questions.
  • Keeps abreast of new developments in the information technology field and strives to continually improve the technology delivered to support the business.
  • Participates in project evaluation, execution and implementation as assigned by Information Technology management.
  • Will be on call in response to system failure or other problems that might interrupt system operation during scheduled system availability commitment.



  • Bachelor’s or Associates degree in Information Systems or related field; Bachelor’s preferred.  Demonstrated experience can be exchanged for the degree.


Skills and abilities required:

  • Detailed knowledge of application systems, computer operations and business practices applicable to TDW.
  • Administration skills in the assigned areas of responsibilities to include formal training or equivalent experience.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work with all levels of personnel. 
  • Good communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Fluent in English.
