The Project

Hot tapping and plugging are common ways to perform tie-ins, add branch connections or temporary block the pipeline flow. The first component necessary to perform these type of operations is a fitting. A fitting is a connection to the existing pipe, which can be welded or bolted to the parent pipeline. The concept behind the Pro Series fittings is to have a readily available, cost effective fitting that complies with code requirements. ProSeries fittings will significantly reduce lead times by accelerating the process of fitting manufacturing and supply chain.
