Overview

Plans, manages, and coordinates the flow of all Inventory, through the Manufacturing Facility, to Service Centers and Leads and directs activities that will optimize utilization of In-line Inspection global fleet of equipment, and related resources in accordance with corporate policies, strategic goals, and objectives in compliance with local rules and regulations in order to achieve customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

Asset Management (40%)

  • Provides strong guidance and recommended action to regional leaders with respect to positioning of ILI assets;
  • Ensures widespread utilization of Asset Management tools (FSA) throughout regions by providing training, and gaining acceptance;
  • Analyzes and improves equipment utilization, inventory turnover, and procurement to maximize productivity and ROI;
  • Provides operational ownership of Field Service Automation (FSA) system and “Super User” group;
  • Provides global analysis and capacity reporting across ILI service business;
  • Directs and participates in the preparation and maintenance of a variety of narrative and statistical reports, records and files related to tools, maintenance, repairs, upgrades, projects, mileage, depreciation, financial activity and assigned duties utilizing One ERP and other tools and software applications;
  • Assists regions in forecasting equipment needs and budget planning;
  • Establishes fleet management continuous improvement performance metrics, sets goals and monitors progress;
  • Works with region to implement cost effective preventative maintenance, repair and upgrade programs for both TDW as well as customer owned equipment.

Inventory Management (40%)

  • Develops and implements inventory management systems to include but not limited to: Push/Pull; Supermarket, Consignment, Economical Order Quantities (EOQ), Handling of obsolete/slow moving, ERP system parameters, safety stock/buffer sizes, asset allocation throughout globe;
  • Develops progressive controls and measurements to effectively monitor inventory balance and turnover for Raw, WIP and FG inventory categories;
  • Works with the regions’ site leader to determine appropriate inventory levels;
  • Develops reporting systems to convey critical inventory management data to regional stakeholders;
  • Provides input with respect to risk/reward of strategic decisions impacting inventory;
  • Works in conjunction with his/her counterparts to share best practices and identify synergies.

Team Management (20%)

  • Selects, manages, evaluates, motivates and develops employees to ensure a qualified workforce necessary to meet company objectives while complying with EEO and Affirmative Action guidelines or foreign employment guidelines as applicable;
  • Sets personal objectives, provides fair and constructive feedback, assesses accurately employee performance, training needs, areas for improvement and possibility of future growth within the organization, and ensures training & development needs are addressed;
  • Develops a positive team dynamic to ensure high performance.

Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree and 5-7 years of experience in asset management, fleet management, service management or a related field. Advanced degree in business preferred,
  • Solid project management skills, effectively manage multiple projects in a cross-functional environment,
  • Ability to work with financial concepts and perform financial analysis,
  • Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or Above preferred.
  • Able to communicate effectively at all levels of the organization,
  • Ability to travel both domestically and abroad,
  • Critical and strategic thinker, able to grasp the big picture and translate the information into actionable activities with demonstrated results.
