Develop annual global Marketing Communication plan which supports corporate initiatives, and implements and monitors plan for successful execution according to established company goals. Constantly seeks out and employs new marketing communications tools and approaches as needed to keep the TDW brand image and messaging fresh, clear and relevant to customer and market demands.


• Develops annual marketing plan and budget based on the strategic objectives of the company, Regions, Business Lines, and Technology groups

• Provides direction and support for activities and programs supporting Sales Regions, Business Lines and Technology

• Supports strategic initiatives by working with each of the Business Lines to provide marketing assistance in both strategic thought leadership as well as tools and templates to move the strategy forward

• Develops channel partner strategies and works with Regions to support effective implementation

• Develops and helps drive the Value Framework program as part of the customer engagement model and solutions development initiatives.  This includes customer and market segmentation, developing problem/solutions map, helping develop defensible differentiators, and updating Marketing support material

• Establishes and ensures consistent global execution of TDW's marketing strategy. Works closely with Business Lines, Technology Directors, Product Managers, Sales Regions, and other groups to establish marketing programs to effectively position and promote TDW within the market space

• Manages the brand expectation and experience, establishes design direction, and develops messages/trade names; Ensures consistency of messaging across entire technology and solution platform across all Regions, Technology groups, and market segments

• Manages the TDW website, including site integrity (platform), site experience and site performance

• Manages TDW social media programs to ensure consistency of messages

• Oversees the formulation and coordination of global marketing promotional materials and activities

• Coordinates and participates in promotional activities and trade shows, working with developers, advertisers and production managers to market products and services

• Responsible for web search engine management, analytics, lead generation, web-related campaigns, marketing communication database and site maintenance

• Develops and manages customer satisfaction program to include Net Promoter Score (NPS)

• Responsible for internal communications, process, procedures and content, supporting the Senior Leadership Team and strategic initiatives

• Manages multiple outside vendors to optimize workflow, quality and cost in the department

• Develops process for collecting and sharing market intelligence aimed at petroleum economics, market segment trends and opportunities

• Uses market trends to develop models to predict sales trends and opportunities

• Understands and updates market size for Business Lines, and calculates relevant TDW market share by Business Line and Regions.  Is an integral part of business planning activities

• Owns process for collecting and sharing competitive intelligence and uses information to predict competitive moves and help Business Lines with strategic positioning

• Selects, evaluates, motivates and develops employees to ensure a qualified workforce necessary to meet company objectives

• Sets personal objectives, provides fair and constructive feedback, accurately assesses employee performance, training needs, areas for improvement and possibility of future growth within the organization, and ensures training & development needs are addressed

• Develops a positive team dynamic to ensure high performance

• Leads the continuous improvement process on the team

• Reports directly to the VP, Marketing & Strategy Execution

• Focal point for the Regions to ensure the consistency of sales and marketing campaigns and messaging

• Works closely with the Technology Directors, Product Managers, Sales, Regional Personnel and Business Lines to establish market leadership

• Works closely with Business Lines  both for thought leadership and driving process consistency



• Frequent contact with customers, industry representatives, and media representatives; and attends trade shows and other events as required

• Bachelor’s Degree; MBA preferred

• Ten years of diversified sales & marketing experience with proven ability to deliver comprehensive marketing communications strategies and plans for a major enterprise

• Past experience in team leadership is required

• Strong knowledge of latest web and related marketing technologies

• Strong business problem solving and creative business development skills

• Strong ability to develop high level relationships and rapport with customers, and business partners, and represent TDW at the executive level on industry committees

• Possess strong ability to exercise sound judgment in making business decisions

• Previously demonstrated ability to organize, lead, challenge, inspire, and develop people
