Proactively PROTECTING the health, safety and environment of our employees, partners and communities where we operate.

Ensuring COMPLIANCE with personal and system HSE regulations or applicable consensus standards at all levels.

Effectively managing a CULTURE of Learning via lean and flexible HSE systems and processes.


1. Hemisphere HSE Performance (75%):



  • Leads hemisphere cross-functional team in making TDW a high reliability organization with a constant and consistent focus on QHSE excellence,
  • Creates short and long term HSE plans to ensure compliance with all regional legal, regulatory and other applicable requirements as well as the relevant requirements of our customers,
  • Proactively manages plans to reduce HSE risk(s) to acceptable levels at our manufacturing and service facilities, in the field at customer sites, and within the Product Lifecycle Management process,
  • Reactively manages investigations of work-related HSE incidents and drives completion of corrective actions to reduce future incidents and assists in minimizing costs to the company,
  • Checks for weaknesses within our HSE defenses by managing audits of our integrated QHSE Management System and monitors HSE performance for trends of increasing incidents and risks,
  • Motivates workers, managers and leaders toward a higher level of HSE involvement and promotes the participation of all employees in the continual improvement of HSE in their work environment.


  • Analyze HSE and business requirements and recommend regional HSE resources and budgets,
  • Design and implemented HSE programs and procedures in accordance with ISO/OHS/OHSAS stds,
  • Audit and evaluate HSE programs and processes, issue recommendations, implement changes and monitor outcomes.


2. Company HSE Performance (25%):


  • Interact and partner with senior management across multi-functions to ensure HSE compliance and continuous improvement,
  • Actively participate and support company-wide HSE programs, processes and initiatives,
  • Support the implementation and maintenance of the Global QHSE Integrated Management System and associated digital tooling.



  • Minimum ten (10) years of total HSE manufacturing and services experience as a HSE professional within the hemisphere of reference; of which a minimum five (5) of HSE work experience in the oil and gas industry.


  • Professional certification preferred (i.e., CSP, CIH, CHMM, etc.).


  • Proficient in written / spoken English to allow for effective interaction with personnel and customers.


  • Ability to travel up to 50% of the working time within and outside of the region; candidates will therefore need a passport or be able to get one within a month of the date of hire.

  • Lean Six Sigma Greenbelt Certification preferred.

Education Requirement

Bachelor of Science (4-year) degree from a regionally accredited college or university in occupational safety and health, environmental safety and health, safety or environmental management, safety or environmental science, or other engineering discipline.

Masters of Science, preferred.
