Manages the planning & procurement functions to ensure proper supply & demand balancing, required to achieve monthly and annual business plan objectives.
Coordinates closely with S&OP teams to ensure supply chain alignment with market needs,
Works closely with Sales, Manufacturing, Accounting and Inventory Management to ensure execution to plan,
Manages a team that ensures long range planning and short term scheduling activities are in supporting the long term and short term goals of the business plan,
Sets policies and establishes control procedures for the procurement $65 - $85million dollars in component items, commodity items and subcontract labor,
Tracks and maintains planning and procurement key metrics as defined,
Oversee the development and coordination of the master production schedule (MPS),
Develops and maintains all necessary process controls needed to for all planning and scheduling functions,
Manages Sub-Contract vendor contracts and relationships,
Manages the supply chain alignment and strategies for all cellular manufacturing,
Develops and supervises the resource needs required to achieve the Manufacturing and Supply Chain objectives,
Selects, evaluates, motivates and develops employees to ensure a qualified workforce for company objectives,
Sets personal objectives, provides fair and constructive feedback, assesses accurately employee performance, training needs, areas for improvement and possibility of future growth within the organization, and ensures training & development needs are addressed,
Develops a positive team dynamic to ensure high performance,
Leads the continuous improvement process in his / her team,
Maintains and communicates delivery commitments to all relevant parties,
Provides the purchasing department frequent and timely feedback on inventory and supply chain positioning to reduce lead times while minimizing inventory,
Develops and adjusts production plans and notifies the Inside Sales department of any changes/delays,
Provides assistance to the Inside Sales Representatives to establish sales order delivery promise,
Coordinates together with the Commercial department the inspection from clients,
Communicates with the other departments such as Manufacturing and Warehouse with regard to material and capacity,
Identifies, negotiates and resolves conflicts in material and capacity availability to ensure order promising integrity,
Oversees Input to the annual cost roll for Purchase Parts,
Ensures maintenance and review of all MRP drivers, in accordance with S&OP strategies.
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Industrial Engineering or Operational Management, combined with min 5 years’ experience in a planning or fulfillment role utilizing ERP,
Minimum of 3 years in a leadership role,
Good interpersonal and communication skills,
Strong IT skills (Microsoft Office and ERP),
Good organization skills, initiative taker and skilled at multitasking
